Peggy Berryhill - Producer, artistic director, writer

Peggy, Muscogee, is affectionately known as "the first Lady of Indian Radio". A radio producer since 1973, Peggy has produced more than eleven special series for public radio including Spirits of the Present: the Legacy from Native America. In 1999 she has three major collaborations premiering. Peggy is the Executive Producer for NC3 ‘s The California Indian Radio Project; the head writer for The Smithsonian Institution National Museum of the American Indian projects; Living Voices,and the writer and producer of Frank Day: Memory and Imagination. In 1996 she founded the Native Media Resource Center, a 501 (c) (3) non profit organization whose mission is to produce educational materials about Indigenous communities and promote cross cultural understanding and racial harmony.

Cathy Chapman - Assistant Producer

Cathy, Yaqui and Apache, has been producing radio since the 1980’s when she took over the helm of KPFA’s Living on Indian Time from Peggy Berryhill. She is the former director of the Women's Department at KPFA. She divides her time between radio and working in the Native health community where she works with Indian women in recovery. In 1992 Cathy contributed to Spirits of the Present: the Legacy from Native America.

Neil Harvey - sound engineer & SFX

Neil has been involved in public radio for over 15 years. He is also the engineer for the California Indian Radio Project; and the co-producer of the series Deep Ecology
for the 21st Century, a project of the New Dimensions Broadcasting Network.

A former Associate Producer for Music From the Hearts of Space, Neil has also contributed feature reports for Morning Edition, National Native News and Voice of America.
